Where your saves live

Ruled by the owner on #91: the news is the same for everyone, so it is shared; what you keep is yours, so it is not.

Saved stories are kept in this browser. They survive closing the tab, quitting and restarting your computer. They do not follow you to another browser or another device, and clearing your browsing data clears them.

Starting over

The three questions this app asks when it first opens. Nothing you have saved is touched by going through them again.

What the grades mean

Every story carries one, kept separate from what kind of thing the story is, so a rumour about a model release is labelled as both.

Primary source: The company, lab or author published it themselves.
Corroborated: Two or more independent outlets report the same thing.
Emerging: One outlet so far. Probably true, not yet confirmed.
Unverified: A rumour, a leak or an anonymous claim. Read it as such.

Where stories come from

The list of sources is fixed for now. Turning one off needs an endpoint that does not exist yet, so the switches are not drawn rather than drawn dead.

Every source the app reads is listed in the repository and each story names the one it came from. Choosing which to follow arrives with the endpoint that can store the choice.
